Use Cases
FAQ
Is my audio file uploaded to a server?
No. The Web Audio API processes everything locally in your browser. Your audio never leaves your device.
What audio formats are supported?
Supported inputs include MP3, WAV, OGG, FLAC, AAC, and M4A. The exported output is always WAV (16-bit PCM) for maximum quality.
What frequencies does the EQ cover?
The 5 bands are: Sub-bass (60 Hz), Bass (250 Hz), Midrange (1 kHz), Upper-mid (4 kHz), and Treble (12 kHz). Each can be adjusted from โ12 dB to +12 dB.
Can I use preset EQ profiles?
Yes. Six presets are available: Flat, Bass Boost, Treble Boost, Vocal Boost, Dance/Electronic, and Classical. You can also customize any preset manually.
Why is the export in WAV format?
WAV is a lossless format that preserves all audio quality. MP3 encoding requires additional libraries and would introduce quality loss. You can convert WAV to MP3 afterward using our Audio Converter tool.
